This post is actually a bit late, but since my new roller skates arrived, I completely forgot about everything else.
Ooh, those cuties.
I also borrowed outdoor wheels. Now I have the full kit and it's awesome. I can skate outside on the street! The weather is nice and warm and I feel like I'm improving a little everyday.
It's a wonderful sensation of accomplishment.
Here some pictures of my team!

This is a happy post.
Yesterday I had a wonderful day in Hamburg at the 25th Years Pixar Exhibition, wooh!
Translation of the doodle thing up here:
Mike Wazowski: I'm Awesome
Me: You're actually the one that I like the less, but nevermind
April 13th 2013 - Today I visited the Pixar exhibition in Hamburg. Despite the exhibition itself wasn't too big, I spent inside 4 hours and 30 minutes inside there! I realized it was almost three in the afternoon just because I heard my stomach rumbling. It has been awesome, even if I was the only one taking notes and doing roughs on my sketchbook about everything I saw, and even if more than one person surely hated me because I was standing for entire minutes in front of a single painting or sketch.
ps: I already knew him and I was already following his blog, but starting from today I declare my love: Lou Romano, be my master.
( I don't know why, but I thought "Lou" was a female name, so I wrote "her" instead of "him" in the italian version, lol. Sorry Lou )
Cose che ho fatto ieri / things that I've done yesterday:
( Travel / Walk / Wear horrible nail polish / Spend money )
Bonus presence in my day:

I know, it has been a while. It's just one week but it sure seems longer to me.
As you can tell from my Bologna Children's Book Fair post, I went back to Italy for the Easter Break.
It has been nice to see my family and my friends.
Something good that happened to me before leaving.
As most of the artists, you often run into moments of discourage, especially looking at your own art and feeling like it's completely inappropriate/not mature/not good enough/not ready for the market and blablah.
Last winter I prepared some paper treats for myself, following the Artist's Survival Kit by Keri Smith.
I was in my bedroom, just few days after the Fair. I decided to pick a ticket out of the jar and see what Destiny had to say on me.
That's the result:
I flew back to Bremen last tuesday and since then everything just literally run over me. I have confused memories already, haha.
Wednesday I went to the Osterwiese with the kids: market, food, merry-go-rounds and dangerous attraction, wee! I hope to get back there today to take some pictures of the whole thing, even if I know it's going to be seriously crowded.
I also started my german courses again.
I felt like I forgot everything. Missing a couple of lessons + didn't study during the holidays hasn't been good for me and my test results were something like 102/112 points. ( I don't mean to sound like a nerd, but trust me: that test was very easy )
Last night was Roller Derby time! It has been great to see the girls back again. A very talented guy with a high passion for photography came to take us some pictures. It has been fun and I feel like standing for hours on my skates has improved my balance a lot. I feel like I'm getting rid of it, weee!
But hey, sunday has just began. I already had my breakfast and I'll manage to go jogging in one hour.
First thing first: some recent findings!
"The Living Wall" project by Nomerz! I also tweeted this today. I find these works absolutely awesome. I always love when street art interacts completely with the environment.
I think you all know Bobsmade and they don't really need a presentation, but every time I look up at their website there's always something new and exciting! And oh, I love this tee.
Like this brooches as much as I felt in love looking at them? Go go go to this Etsy shop!
Last thing, I swear. I'm quite obsessed with tote bags and in this last 5 years I've collected so many that I don't know where to put them. Too many isn't too much, right? Go here to purchase "The Life of a Pencil" by Timeasley.

Super website update!
By Irene Dose in update, website
I've added many past and recent projects and I also switched to Cargo, which means things are easier to manage and I won't waste too much time in the future trying to update pages.

Bologna Children's Book Fair 2013
By Irene Dose in bologna children's book fair
Niente portfolio, niente appuntamenti, niente aspettative.
Pensavo i bloggers esagerassero.
No, alla Bologna Children's Book Fair c'è davvero tanta gente.
Bonus track: presentazione dell'"Illustrated Bologna Children's Book Fair Survival Guide".
Giochiamo a "Trova Irene".
